We believe that useful tools should not require you to trust a third party with your data.

PrivacyKit is a collection of free, browser-based utility tools built around a single principle: your data never leaves your device. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using modern Web APIs — no uploads, no servers, no tracking.

Why Client-Side Tools?

Most online tools work by uploading your files or data to a server, processing them, and returning the result. This is convenient, but it means your data — photos, documents, source code, sensitive JSON payloads — passes through infrastructure you do not control.

For privacy-conscious users, this is a deal-breaker. PrivacyKit solves this by doing all processing locally in your browser. The result is:

  • No upload latency — processing starts instantly
  • No data leakage — files and inputs never leave your machine
  • No server costs — which means these tools will always be free

What's Coming

We are building tools across four categories:

  • Developer Tools — JSON formatter, JWT decoder, Base64 encoder
  • Media — Image compressor, EXIF remover, HEIC to JPG converter
  • PDF — Merge, split, and password-protect PDFs locally
  • CSV — Split and preview large CSV files without uploading them
