- Are my images safe?
- Yes. Images are processed entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. They are never uploaded to any server.
- What formats are supported?
- Any image your browser can display can be used as input (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP), plus HEIC / HEIF files from iPhone. Output can be JPEG, WebP, or PNG.
- Why is my PNG output larger?
- PNG is a lossless format, so quality settings have no effect. Converting a JPEG to PNG will almost always increase the file size. Use JPEG or WebP for smaller output.
- Can I use HEIC files from my iPhone?
- Yes. When you drop a HEIC / HEIF file, it is automatically decoded in your browser using WebAssembly before editing. This takes a few seconds on first use while the WASM module loads, but subsequent files in the same session are faster.
